Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Webxperts AI Studio (the “Studio”) handles while it runs as an early-access demo operated by Webxperts, a New Zealand business. The short version: the demo stores very little, uses one cookie, and sends nothing to advertisers or data brokers.

When you use the demo, we keep the following on our server:

• A temporary demo profile created when you sign in — an auto-generated display name, a placeholder email address and a session identifier. You do not provide real personal details to use the demo.
• The prompts, optional negative prompts and settings you submit, together with the mock preview items the Studio generates from them.
• A credit ledger recording your starting balance and each deduction.
• Routine technical logs (such as request timestamps and error messages) used to keep the service running.

The Studio sets a single session cookie whose only job is to keep you signed in to your demo account. We do not use advertising cookies, analytics cookies or any third-party tracking. Deleting the cookie ends your session and orphans the demo account, which we clean up over time.

We use the information above solely to operate the Studio: keeping your session active, showing your creation history, maintaining your credit balance, screening prompts against our Content Policy and diagnosing faults. We do not use demo data to build marketing profiles.

• We do not sell or rent any data, ever.
• We do not share prompts or outputs with advertisers.
• In this phase the generation pipeline is simulated on our own server, so your prompts are not sent to any external model provider or third-party processing service.

Demo data lives in the application’s own datastore on our server in a simple file-based format. Because this phase exists for evaluation, we periodically clear demo accounts, prompts and preview items without notice. Treat everything in the demo as temporary; if you want to keep a preview, download it.

Webxperts handles personal information in line with the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020. Although the demo is designed to avoid collecting real personal details, you may ask us what information we hold that relates to you, and request correction or deletion, by contacting us through webxperts.co.nz. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner.

The Studio is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has used the demo, contact us and we will remove the related data.

As the product moves beyond the demo phase — adding real accounts, payments and external providers — this policy will be expanded and the “Last updated” date will change. Questions about privacy can be sent to us through webxperts.co.nz.
